News : Panasonic Toughbook makes mobility a breeze with the CF-SX2

Panasonic announces the new addition to their Toughbook line the CF-SX2, perfect machine for business mobility.
CF-SX2 is a lightweight notebook combines enterprise-level technology and ultra-long battery lifespan, increasing business productivity and enabling longer hours in the field with 3G connectivity.
Equipped with some of the industry’s best enterprise-level technologies, the Panasonic CF-SX2 features a 12.1-inch HD+ display (1600X900) powered by core i5 vPro processor with 4GB RAM and 250GB hard drive. There is an embedded miniSIM card slot that provides the 3G/2G internet access on the move without any external support. There are two options available for customization, the battery and the sim slot integration. The normal 4 cell battery provides a backup for about 9 hours whereas if upgraded to 8 cell, it can run for 18 hours.

Toughbooks are meant just for B2B purpose so it will available directly from Panasonic India for approximately 1.25 lacs.

India, 2012 – Panasonic Toughbook, an industry leader in rugged, reliable laptop, handheld and tablet computers since 1996, recently launched in India the Panasonic CF-SX2 ultra-light notebook for business professionals constantly on the move. With up to 14 hours of battery life, built-in DVD optical drive, 3G connection capabilities, and weighing just 1.21kg, the Panasonic CF-SX2 combines functionality with portability.

This is the first product to be launched in India in which the professionals have an option of choosing either English or Japanese language in keyboard and operating system.

Design and world-famous durability

The Panasonic CF-SX2 features a light but strong magnesium alloy casing, reducing overall weight by up to 33%. The unit also has an efficient and ergonomic circular scrolling touchpad that is customizable to suit individual preferences. The device has been drop-tested in operation mode from a height of up to 76cm, and can withstand up to 100kgf of pressure.

With a built-in WWAN adapter, the Panasonic CF-SX2 provides constant Internet connectivity to ensure consistent business productivity for the mobile worker. Each Panasonic CF-SX2 unit will come with a copy of Windows 7 Professional (32-bit/64-bit version) with 4 years warranty across Asia.
