ViewSonic announced a smart display running a full stock version of Android 4.1.2 Jellybean on its VSD240 screen which measures 24 inches. With the advent of touchscreen monitors and touch optimized operating systems, it was of little amazement that ViewSonic would not enter the segment. On the outside, it looks totally plasticy with shiny borders. Inside it packs a 1080p display with a 1.7GHz quad-core Tegra 3 chip along with a TI multicore OMAP processor . It stays connected with HDMI , ethernet and USB ports , 1.3 Megapixel camera , Bluetooth and stereo speakers on board It’ll be available in North America starting in April, with street prices expected to hover around $499.
