News: Windows 8 Pro Upgrade to cost $200 from Feb 1, grab it now for $40

Get your upgrade plans in action – that is what Microsoft wants it’s users to do apparently. It was announced  recently that Windows XP, Vista and 7 users have a limited time to grab the discounted pricing of $40. While this might speed up their profits as of now as users may rush to upgrade if they haven’t , the pricing overhaul may lead to the company losing it’s profits eventually. Their strategy for the next year could entirely fall apart if the 100$-200$ price point doesn’t take off successfully. Finally, adding Windows 8 Media Center Pack, which is currently free, will cost $9.99 after Jan. 31.

For now since you know – upgrade for the fresh experience at an attractive cost.
