With new Microsoft operating systems relatively expensive, many users are still stuck on XP and Vista, but even Windows 7 won’t live forever. Microsoft have finally revealed the end-of-life dates for the above mentioned OSs.
For those of you who don’t know what an end-of-life date is, it’s the date up until which an OS will be supported. Windows XP will be supported up until April 8, 2014. Windows Vista will be supported until April 11, 2017 and Windows 7 till January 14, 2020. Meanwhile Windows 8 is highly anticipated and will apparently revolutionise the Windows experience. A consumer preview is expected to launch soon and we’ll cover it as soon as we can.
