The American National Transportation Safety Board (N.T.S.B.) has voted to recommend all states (in America) to ban the usage of cellphones while driving, regardless of how one uses it.

The vote even recommends not even to allow hands-free headsets wired or wireless. At the moment some US states allow the use of hands-free technology as an alternative, but that may change in the near future.

Even though the agency’s recommendation is not an obligation. States can consider it, apply it, or simply ignore it. This vote was based on evidence from its investigation on a large amount of crashes where electronic distraction was the major cause of the accident.

Lets see what the future holds regarding this possible ban, and is applied how well can this be implemented.
