OPPO Find 7 and Find 7a launched in India

OPPO Mobiles the Chinese handset manufacturer with presence in North America, Europe and Asia had announced their flagship of the year 2014 in a global unveiling event for Find 7 in China. OPPO Find 7 shall take the premium smartphone ‘Find’ series further this year with this flagship handset. On June 11, 2014 OPPO launched the Find 7 and the Find 7a in India as a successor to the ‘Find 5’.

OPPO Mobiles this time built a handset with exceptional specifications keeping the performance and design both top notch. OPPO is the first smartphone in the country which sports a 5.5-inch QHD display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and 538PPI pixel density. It has managed to include VOOC fast charging technology which allows the smartphone to run for 2 hours talktime on a 5min charge. Talking about how fast it charges, OPPO claims that a 30 min charge gets the Find 7 to 75% of full battery.

The smartphone is powered by a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. Find 7 comes with 16GB storage and supports expandable memory up to 128GB via microSD card. Along with this, Find 7 is the world’s first smartphone equipped with latest generation stacked IMX214 CMOS sensor from Sony and a wide f/2.0 aperture that allows to capture great low-light pictures right from your smartphone.

Pricing and Availability

The OPPO Find 7 and the Find 7a will be available for Rs. 37,990 and Rs. 31,990 respectively in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Pune and Lucknow where OPPO operates its sales network. OPPO also announced its plan for aggressive sales and service network expansion in India with a target of over 200 service centers in the next one year.
