OPPO announced the OPPO Reno in an event in China recently. The Reno series is launched with two different devices. The standard version comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon 710 whereas the 10X lossless zoom version of the device comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display which is powered by Snapdragon 855. The devices come with ultra narrow bezels and a 93.1% screen-to-body ratio. Both the versions have up to 8GB of RAM, Game Boost 2.0, runs on Android Pie with ColorOS 6 on top, and have a primary 48MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor.
Coming to the camera, the standard version has a 5MP secondary camera while the other version comes with a 13MP periscope telephoto camera with 159mm equivalent focal length and with an 8MP 120-degrees ultra-wide angle lens with an equivalent focal length of 15.9mm. On the front, it has a 16MP side-lifting camera on the top which the company claims can withstand over 200,000 times of lifting and the mechanism just takes 0.8 seconds. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor which is 28.5% faster than its predecessor as per the company claims. The standard version has 3765 mAh of battery whereas the other one has 4065 mAh battery and both the devices come with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
Both the OPPO Reno and the Reno 10X Zoom Edition are available in Jet Black and Ocean Green colors. The Reno 10X Zoom edition is priced at Rs.39,990 for the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage and at Rs.49,990 for the 8GB RAM / 256GB storage variant. The shipping starts on June 7th with the pre-orders starting from today. Apart from this, the standard edition version of the OPPO Reno is priced at Rs.32,990 with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage. The 10X Zoom edition is available exclusively via Flipkart whereas the standard edition is available exclusively via Amazon where you can pre-order the device now. From June 7th, the device will also be available in all of their offline stores.
