New Wi-Fi Datacard range launched by Huawei

A leading global information and communications technology solutions provider – Huawei, launched seven new Wi-Fi open data cards. This will enable users to share more content at super fast speeds. These data card will deliver high speed data consumption across multiple devices. The internet can even be shared between people from the same data card. User will also have the freedom to choose their favorite network operator. These data cards have been categorized into three groups for user and retailer simplification. The three categories are Laptopi-Fi, Power-Fi and Mobi-Fi.

Laptopi-Fi data cards:

Huawei has launched two Wi-Fi cards under this category.These data cards will allow the the users to switch their laptop into an internet hotspot. This will cater to maximum of 5 devices. These Wi-Fi data cards include E303FH and E3531. The E303FH data card offers a download speed of 14.4 Mbps and E3531 offers 21.6 Mbps. The upload speed provided is of 5.76 Mbps. This will let the users to share data at high speed.

Power-Fi Data Cards:

With these, the user can easily convert their car, room or small office into a Wi-Fi zone. Huawei has launched two devices under this category namely E8231 and E8221. These come with inbuilt Wi-Fi module and require a power source. Both these devices can cater up-to 10 devices at a time. E8231 and E8221 offer a download speed of 21.6 Mbps and 14.4 Mbps respectively. The upload speed provided is 5.76 Mbps.

Mobi-Fi Data Cards:

Huawei has launched three devices E5220, E5151 and E5730 under this category. These three Wi-Fi routers can connect to up-to 10 devices at a time. A download speed of 21.6 Mbps is offered by these devices. E5220 is powered by a 1150 mAH battery, E5151 is powered by 1500 mAh battery and the E5730 is powered by 5200 mAh battery. These batteries deliver long working time. So constant connection to a power source is avoided. The ethernet port allows the users to carry it around and use it as a portable router. When back, it can be connected with the Ethernet cable which will then function as a stationary router. The 5200 mAh battery used in E5730 allows users to charge their tablet or smartphones as well.

These data cards will be made available across India at all leading consumer electronics channel. The price range is as follows:

  • Laptopi-Fi : E303FH- Rs. 1899/- and E3531 – Rs. 1999/-
  • Power-Fi : E8221 – Rs. 2499/- and E8231 – Rs. 2999/-
  • Mobi-Fi : E5220 – Rs 4299/- and E5151 – Rs. 4999/-
