SanDisk Extreme Pro and SanDisk Ultra Dual USB drives launched in India

SanDisk on February 12, 2014 launched Extreme Pro and Ultra Dual USB drives in India which are designed specifically for their purpose. The SanDisk Extreme Pro is a super fast USB flash drive having 60 times faster data transfer speeds and the SanDisk Ultra Dual is a flash drive having a micro USB connector along with the standard one to support Android devices out of the box.

Features

SanDisk Extreme Pro is a USB 3.0 flash drive that is capable to deliver high-speed which is fastest in the industry. The data speeds go up to 240MB/s while writing and 260 MB/s while reading making it suitable for large amount of data transfer to completed in seconds. The USB drive comes protected in a durable aluminium metal casing with a secure AES 128 bit file encryption and password protection called as SanDisk SecureAccess.

SanDisk also launched the Ultra Dual USB flash drive featuring two USB connectors – micro-USB and a USB 2.0. The standard USB connector which we all know about is on one side whereas the micro USB port is on the other side of the thumb drive. It has been designed to make the user free from any use of OTG cables for data transfer using his/her Android smartphone or tablet. It also comes bundled with a file management software within for the organization of files stored on internal and external phone memory. SanDisk is also launching an Android app called SanDisk Memory Zone app for download from the Google Play Store.

Pricing and Availability

The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 flash drive is available worldwide for ₹16,388 whereas the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB drive is available for ₹1,199 for 16GB and ₹3,800 for 64GB. Additionally, the drives are backed with a lifetime limited warranty and after sales customer support.
