Panasonic Eluga A3 and Eluga A3 Pro with 4,000mAh battery launched in India starting ₹11,290

Panasonic India aiming to improve their smartphone portfolio today launched two new handsets in the country. Called as Panasonic Eluga A3 and Eluga A3 Pro, these handsets are equipped with ARBO – the virtual assistant which are priced at ₹11,290 and ₹12,790 respectively.

Panasonic is a big B2B player with almost 78percent of its business targeted towards B2B products. Consumer space is a minority for Panasonic but as per their latest commitments it looks like they are taking it very seriously. Along with the launch of these two handsets, company also unveiled its heavy invested brand campaign – ‘So Much To Do’ for the new Eluga product series.

The Eluga A3 and A3 Pro comes with full-metal build with 9.1mm thickness. These smartphones have a 5.2-inch HD screen runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) featuring a 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, fingerprint sensor on the front and pack a 4000mAh battery. The only difference is that A3 comes with quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC, while the A3 Pro is powered by Mediatek MT6753 SoC.

Adding to this, the company also announced that it has also signed up Taapsee Pannu as its brand ambassador in addition to Varun Dhawan for its smartphone business.

Pricing and Availability

The Panasonic Eluga A3 and A3 Pro will sell in Mocha Gold, Gold and Grey colors variants. The handsets are priced at ₹11,290 and ₹12,790 respectively and will be available from August 10 2017 across all Panasonic brand shops and other retail outlets across the country.
