We had reports of Asus launching 7″ tablet but this a complete shocker from Asus or a even surprising, although the surprise is a highly pleasant one. Asus has announced a brand new 7-inch tablet powered by the quad-core Tegra 3 monster, its still unnamed. This device features an HD Super IPS+ display with a 1280 x 800 resolution. It is confirmed to run the latest and greatest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. We have few confirmed details except for the fact that the device will launch for a shockingly low $249 some time during the second quarter of 2012.
So it means now that Asus will have two tablets running the Ice Cream Sandwich with the power of Quad-core Tegra 3 processor. The awesome features at an amazing price point certainly gets me excited. Does it excite you ?
