CoolPad Note 3 Lite launched in India for INR 6,999

Coolpad had an interesting journey in India so far, which gained a lot of attention for budget shoppers in the country by unveiling Coolpad Note 3 as the cheapest smartphone to have a fingerprint scanner. This made quite an appeal considering biometric security is only found on flagship high-end devices. Today Coolpad has launched a trimmed down version of their Note 3 calling it as the CoolPad Note 3 Lite. As we have already agreed in our previous posts that Coolpad is playing well with its experiments and this device is no exception. The device resembles a lot to its parent the CoolPad Note 3 in terms of design, display, storage and battery.

Coolpad Note 3 Lite Specifications

Let us look at the specifications of the Coolpad Note 3 Lite, which are quite impressive for the price it is offered at.

  • Display: 5-inch HD IPS Capacitive Display (720×1280 pixel resolution)
  • SoC: Mediatek MT6735 1.3 GHz
  • Architecture: Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53
  • GPU: Mali-T720
  • RAM:3GB
  • Internal Storage: 16 GB (10GB available to the user)
  • OS: Android 5.1 Lollipop with Cool UI 6.0
  • Primary Camera:13MP AutoFocus
  • Front Camera:5MP FixedFocus

Coolpad Note 3 Lite will face direct competition with recently launched Lenovo Vibe P1m and Redmi 2 Prime (or maybe the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 3) which have similar specifications and belong to same under 10k category. But the only feature that makes CoolPad Note 3 Lite shine is its blazing fast Fingerprint Sensor.

Pricing and Availability

Coolpad Note 3 Lite will be exclusively available on Amazon.in starting 28 January at 2PM. It will be available via flash sales model alike the Coolpad Note 3. Registration for Coolpad Note 3 Lite starts today 15 January 2015, 5PM onwards.
