Huawei launches their 6.1 inch phablet Ascend Mate in India for ₹24,900

Huawei the world’s leading smart phone manufacturer at number fourth to be correct launched their 6.1-inch phablet in India today on 18th June 2013. The Huwawei Ascend Mate is a powerhouse to be honest with such technical specifications.

Huwawei Ascend Mate runs on the Android operating system v4.1 Jelly Bean not the recent one but will be updated soon. Huawei powers its devices with its own home-made chip-sets. This Ascend Mate features a 1.5 Ghz Quad-core processor with 16-core GPU and 2GB RAM. Internal memory is 16GB with expandable option up to 32 GB. The USP of the device is its massive 4050mAh battery which easily powers this hardware for about 216 hours on standby and can even act as a power bank which means you can even charge your secondary handset.

8MP BSI sensor rear camera with LED flash and 1MP front-facing camera can shoot videos upto 720p whereas the rear camera shoots it up to 1080p. The 6.1 inches HD IPS+ display though itself is 1280×720 pixels in resolution but still decodes and plays 1080p videos without any jerks.
Huawei Emotion UI which is a custom UI layering will be now seen on the range of Huawei android devices with some pre-installed applications and games. Huawei calls this phablet as the perfect pocket cinema as it packs in 163.5 mm x 85.74 mm x 9.9 mm (6.5 inches x 3.4 inches x 0.4 inches) and just 198 grams. Cool isn’t it?
