Lava launches Iris 550Q Android phablet in India

Lava Mobiles limited one of the fastest growing Indian smartphone firms have launched a new product in India dubbed as the Lava Iris 550Q which is an Android running phablet device with a 5.5-inch screen.

As described by Lava, the mid-premium phablet has an impressive built with 3mm bezel which makes it highly ergonomic and full laminated display gives it a classy look. We cannot make any comments looking at the pictures but we shall let you know more confirmed details once we spend some time with the device.

Features

The Lava Iris 550Q sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS, 1280×720 pixels display resolution touch panel with OGS technology. It comes powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal memory which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 32GB. It comes with a 2MP front-facing camera and a 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor technology. On the connectivity front, it features WiFi, 3G, GPS and Bluetooth. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and packs a 2600 mAh battery.

Lava Iris 550Q will be available for ₹13,000 in Black color with a complimentary free flip cover across India at leading retail outlets and online stores by early April 2014.
