Lava launches its first quad-core Android Iris 458q for ₹8999 in India

Lava International Ltd. announced their first quad-core smartphone the Iris 458q for ₹8999 in India.

Iris 458q packs a 1.2 Ghz quad-core processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. The external memory is expandable upto 32GB via a memory card slot. It features a 4.5inch FWVGA display running the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is powered by a 2000mAh long lasting battery with 8MP auto focus rear camera and VGA front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth v3.0. The preloaded applications include WeChat, Push Mail, Ebook reader etc. along with HD movies and HD games – making it a smart choice for the buyers.
