Lenovo K900 alongwith 6 new phones announced today.

Lenovo knows how to get back in the game of Android smartphones in the indian market. At a press event today, Lenovo announced 6 new android smartphones ranging from their flagship k900 – world’s first smartphone based on the latest Intel Atom Z2580 processor, clocked at 2GHz and which utilizes Intel’s Hyper-Threading technology to boost performance.

Having at a look at the most premium device, the k900 include a 5.5″ IPS LCD display with a 1080p display. a 13 MP rear camera with a Back light illumination sensor and a wide angle front camera and intels graphic media accelerator.

The k900 has been priced at 32,999 in the india market and would be available from july 2013.

The P780 comes a 1.2GHz quad-core device having a large 4000mAh battery that makes it stand out. a 5inch 720p LCD display and an 8 MP camera at 22,529INR. It runs on Android 4.1 Jellyean.

The Lenovo S920 comes as a 5.3 Inches IPS display (1280 x 720), 1.2 GHz Quad-core MTK 6589 Processor with 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear and 2MP front camera with LED flash. It stores 4 GB storage onboard which can be expanded to 32 GB via microSD. It is priced at 26,399INR.

Moving to the next deivce, The Lenovo S820 has a 4.6inch 720p display which translates to 315ppi. It features an IPS LCD like the rest. it is powered by the same 1.2 GHz Quad-core MTK 6589 Processor with 1GB of RAM. The camera is a 12 MP on the rear and 2 MP on the front . Similar 4 GB onboard storage and a 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery. It has been priced at INR19,599

The Lenovo A706 comes with a 4.5 inch FWGA display and is a midrnage device. It sports a 854 * 480 resolution with a quad-core CPU , 1 GB of RAM and 4GB onboard storage like expansion just like the rest. It is priced at INR 15,949 to enter a competitive segment.

Lastly, the Lenovo A390 which comes with a 1GHz CPU , 512 MB or RAM to cater entry level consumers with a 4 inch 480*800 pixel resolution with 4 GB of internal memory and a 5 MP camera at INR 8,689 is Lenovo’s lower end offering.
