LG Electronics have been continuously innovating on their products making it the more user friendly and intuitive on the same side. They launched the ergonomic back button on the LG G2 which has never been on any handset yet. The LG G2 also had lots of software features like the guest mode privacy controls with pattern unlock, Knock on feature which wakes up the screen on just a tap of the screen etc.
Recently LG has announced Knock Code which like the Knock-on feature is a method to wake and unlock the screen. When your handset’s screen is off the user can tap in the sequential order of the home screen to unlock the device. It is definitely a new thing which has not been implemented by any of the developer out there, even though it is it has never been out of beta.
LG is planning to file patents for such innovations before its too late because they are investing a lot of time and money in such out of the box ideas which have the potential to lead the smartphone industry. At present, this feature will be rolling out for LG G2 and L Series handsets and will be available on all post devices from hereon.
