LG launched Optimus G Pro in India for ₹42,500

After the super success of Nexus 4 LG is now friends with benefits after the OEM partnership with Google. LG has not only got its brand value it also has got the right tactic to bind an Android device. A lot similar to Nexus 4, LG had launched Optimus G as its flagship device for the year 2012 and now in 2013 with its iteration LG is out with its new flagship Optimus G Pro.

LG Optimus G Pro sports a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display ~ 400ppi with 13MP rear camera and 2.1 MP front facing camera both of which can shoot videos up to 1080p. The 2013 flagship runs on a 1.7Ghz Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory which supports microSD card up to 64 GB. Apart from the usual connectivity options including that of 3G, EDGE , WiFi, Bluetooth, DLNA etc. one of the most important feature of LG Optimus G Pro is its 3140 mAh removable battery which can be a boon for many. Another thing with caught our attention was the LED notification around the home button which notifies for various events such as calls, messages, emails and even whatsapp.

Optimus G Pro comes with dual recording, dual camera and virtual panorama which is the 360 view. Some of the software improvements can also be seen on the device making optimized use of the hardware. These features include QSlide, QRemote, Live Zooming, VU talk and some more which we will review in details once we receive the device for review.

LG priced the Optimus G Pro for 42,500 along with colorful smart covers as optional accessory which needs to be purchased separately. The Optimus G Pro will start its sales in various stores.
