Micromax launches Canvas Nitro A310 in India

Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax has launched the Canvas Nitro (A310) priced at Rs. 12,900. Surprisingly Micromax has put in great effort to give Canvas Nitro a premium design and durable build quality. The smartphone has a faux-leather back which gives a premium finish to the device.

The Micromax Canvas Nitro sports a 5 inch HD IPS screen and is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-core MediaTek  processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device has a 13Mp primary camera and a 5MP front camera, Micromax has improved their stock camera application and the application is now bundled with great features like “Live Photo” in which we can click photos along with sound and other feature is multi angle view mode which allow users to shoot images in 180 degrees.

The smartphone now has support for smart gestures like user can Pinch In , Pinch out, 2 finger flick up, 2 finger flick down, 2 finger flick left, 2 finger flick right to open any assigned application or to control the media actions on the device like play/pause music etc.

Micromax Canvas Nitro is packed with a number of new software features like:-

  • Quick Look” : which is a home screen feed application that displays news feeds, weather and social updates. It has a collage like interface and users have alot of chices to choose from. This home screen feed application is very similar to HTC Blinkfeed and Google Now.
  • All-in-one camera widget: Using this widget the users can choose from a normal photo mode to a video mode to selfie, front ‘n’ back & stable shot mode and a 5MP Fixed Focus front camera, will allow users to get the best quality selfies
  • Smart Alerts: Users can view all therir notifications right on the lockscreen.
