Sony has just announced that its flagship Xperia S which was unveiled at the CES is shipping globally right now and more interestingly it will be available at all Sony stores in Barcelona this week.
So if you had loved the device and were waiting for the device to be available, you can start to count on your money as its shipping now.
The Xperia S features a 4.6″ Reality display with 1280×720 HD resolution with a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 in charge, backed up by an Adreno 220 GPU, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of user space (expandable via microSD up to 32GB). The Ion features a quite promising 12MP EXMOR-R camera mounted on the back capable of 1080p HD video recording at 30fps, a 1.3MP front facer, PlayStation-Certified goodness for the gamers out there and also NFC support. It comes with Gingerbread but hopefully will see ICS soon.
