MWC: ViewSonic unveils ViewPhone 4S

ViewSonic has just unveiled its latest Dual-SIM smartphone, the ViewPhone 4S which is the World’s first Dual-SIM smartphone running on Android’s latest and greatest Ice Cream Sandwich.

The ViewPhone 4S features a 3.5-inch Super Clear IPS LCD display with 960 x 540 resolution and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. It has a 5 MP camera on its rear plus a VGA front-facing camera. The Dual-SIM capability of the phone allows users to use two SIMs on the go and select different voicecall and message ringtones per SIM while separating contacts and messages.

The Verge got their hands on the device and the device did not run Ice Cream Sandwich but the company has promised that it’ll ship with ICS. The device will be available by June in Europe and in the US around August for “sub $499.”
