News: HTC One S does not cost Rs. 33,000 on Mobile Store any more, coming soon!

We reported earlier this week that the One S was listed on the Mobile Store with a price tag of Rs. 33,000 with an expected arrival on 8th June but now they have back tracked and have removed the price and listed its availability as coming soon with price to be announced.

This is hardly surprising to us since our reliable sources have been consistent saying the One S will be priced at around 31k or lower while launching mid-June. This is a great time for HTC to get some traction in the Indian market while at the same time damage Samsung which has priced (overpriced) its flagship Galaxy S III at Rs. 43,180 by dropping flagship One X to 35k and launching the One S at 29-30k which is what we predict.

Well probably believing our sources, we should wait for mid-June. Till then, we’ll surely bring you more scoop if we know more of the price and availability on the One S by our sources. Stay Tuned for more!

Here is a quick look at some of the features of the HTC
One S:

Android 4.0 with HTC Sense 4
4.3-inch with a resolution of 540 x 960
1.5 GHz dual-core processor
8MP camera with AF, LED flash, BSI sensor and 1080p
HD video recording
F2.0 aperture and 28mm lens
16GB Internal memory
1GB RAM
Beats Audio
NFC, Wi-Fi, DLNA, micro-USB 2.0, HDMI
1650 mAh battery

By the way, we’ll be right back!
