Karbonn has (without much hype) launched two of its new quadcore devices – the Karbonn Titanium S1 and Titanium S5. They are priced at Rs.10,290 and Rs.11,990 respectively. Starting with the younger sibling – the Karbonn S1 , it packs a 1.2 GHz quadcore processor , 1 GB of RAM and 4.5 inch qHD display – so no 720p goodness there.
It has a 5 Megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. It runs on Android JellyBean 4.1.2 out of the box and houses a 1600mAh battery. The Karbonn Titanium S5 on the other hand is a beefier version of the two with a similar 1.2GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM but has a bigger 5 inch screen but the resolution remains the same qHD.
The camera on the S5 is an 8 megapixel back shooter and a 2 megapixel front camera for video calls. It has a 2000mAh battery and Android JellyBean 4.1.2. All standard connectivity options like WiFi,3G and Bluetooth are there onboard both.
