Motorola has been quite vocal and transparent in its plans of updating its devices to the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich and now Motorola has updated its ICS upadte plans and some users might be in for a disappointment.
The new updated schedule states the Motorola RAZR to get the update at sometime in Q2 this year but strangely the US version Motorola Droid RAZR at Verizon is listed as “Evaluation & Planning” which means that there are issues which are coming at way in the update and as Pocketnow notes it features an LTE radio unlike the international variants. It will be quite dissapointing if the Droid RAZR doesn’t get the update and many might blame Verizon for it but we still have slight expectations of the Verizon Droid RAZR making it into the list of devices getting updated to ICS since recently Verizon mentioned RAZR in the list of handsets that will be updated to Android 4.0, but had no ETA to offer. We’ll have to wait for the final confirmation, as always we’ll keep you updated.
