Just a while ago Asus was sued by Hasbro for calling their latest tablet the Transformer Prime. Now, Asus are preparing a new, better Transformer for the global audience; the TF300T.
Obviously they won’t specify another name and keep it the Transformer, unless it’s not the name of one of Hasbro’s Transformers’ characters’ names’. The new tablet, expected to appear at MWC next week, will feature a 10,1-inch display with a 1200×800 resolution, a 1,2GHz quad core Tegra 3 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of memory, an 8MP main camera, a 1,2MP webcam, a microSD slot and will run on Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich.
The TF700T, probably the Transformer Prime’s successor will have a 1,5GHz Qualcomm processor, dropping the Tegra 3. We’ll keep you updated as things unravel.
