The Samsung Galaxy Beam ,the device with the projector has now been finally confirmed to launch in India in April. There is no word though as to when the device will hit the US or other regions across the globe but the Indian launch was confirmed by IBN Live.
The phone features a 15 Lumens HD projector which is capable of projecting multimedia content on a big luminous screen. The phone was showcased at the Samsung Event in Bangkok and people were pretty amazed by the projection feature. The phone features a 1 GHz dual-core processor , a 4″ WVGA display and will run Android Gingerbread. The price is set to be around $500 ( around 27,000 INR with tax and all ). Also , it will feature 8GB internal memory with an expandable memory card slot for 32GB and a 2000mAh battery for longer life sustainability, considering the projection feature.
