News: Samsung releases dual SIM Galaxy S II

How about a dual-SIM version of the super popular Samsung Galaxy S II?  Well, that’s right – Samsung just released the Samsung I929 Galaxy S II Duos which is a dual-SIM, dual-mode, sadly it’s only for the Chinese market.Samsung Galaxy S II Duos supports CDMA2000 and GSM version which is a great combination. The specs are largely same as the Galaxy S II and include a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, and 8MP camera with 1080p video recording.

The phone ships with Android 2.3 but should be in line for an Ice Cream Sandwich update along with other members of the Galaxy S II family. The world phone will be available exclusively from China Telecom. Though, we would have loved to see a worldwide release of this variant, but that does seem doubtful.
