News: Samsung Sells 700,000 Galaxy Notes in South Korea

We reported last month that phone-tablet hybrid Galaxy Note had completed one million shipments. Well now Samsung has announced that in its domestic market, they have managed to sell over 700,000 units since its launch which has helped Samsung to capture a 66 percent market share in the LTE market in January.

Its worth noting that this number reflects sales to channel and distributors and not to end consumers, but still the numbers hint that it has turned out a winner. With the US availability next month, we can surely expect the device to reach grater heights, as we also know the ICS treat for Note isn’t far away.
