It seems Sony isn’t quite working too hard on protecting its smartphones from leaking in the wild. Recently we reported of the Sony Xperia LT30p Mint which got detailed preview way before its official launch and the specs of the device shouted high-end and now another Sony smartphone has leaked along with pictures but this time its an entry-level smartphone dubbed Sony Xperia J.
The rumored specs are Qualcomm MSM7227(GSM)/MSM7627(CDMA) Snapdragon S1 chipset clocked at 1 Ghz and an Adreno 200 GPU. It is also said to feature a 4-inch WVGA TFT display and a 5MP camera with LED flash and the whole plethora of connectivity features – Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G with HSPA and Bluetooth.
The device is said to come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, thankfully unlike other Xperia smartphones launched this year with the dated Gingerbread. The device should become official along with the Mint at IFA, Berlin.
