When Sony unveiled the Xperia S they also labelled the device being PlayStation Certified device which would enable it access the PlayStation Store but unfortunately Sony could not complete the software on time and shipped the device without the PS Store but its good news for Xperia S users who love games because the PS Store is now available for download and access on your brand new Xperia S.There has been a PS store placeholder link in the app tray, what you have to do is just tap it and you will be redirected to a webpage which will let you download the PS Store and also some PS Pocket apps but you need to enable non-Market installs in the settings You need to have a PlayStation Network or Sony Entertainment Network account to access the PS Store.
Though there are only a dozen odd games and some even are exclusive to the Xperia Play but we can expect the titles to grow as other new PS Certified devices like Xperia P, Xperia U, Xperia Ion and the brand new Xperia sola hit the market.
