Former Apple CEO, John Sculley backed Obi Mobiles has now officially entered the Indian smartphone market with the launch of the Octopus S520, which costs Rs.11,990. The phone is available via online retailer Snapdeal.
The phone features an all aluminum back panel , sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280p) IPS display and is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor. It has dual SIM support, 3G connectivity, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage with expansion slot.

With the launch of Octopus S520, Obi Mobile becomes the second new company to enter the Indian market, earlier this week Chinese popular smartphone maker, Xiaomi had launched three feature-rich smartphones at affordable prices.
