Sony Xperia SP launched in India for 27,490INR

With just a month after the official announcement for the smartphone, Sony brought their latest achievement – Xperia SP to India with an MRP of 27,490 INR. Good to see that India is now one of the countries in the list as chosen by the Android OEMs to recieve the devices first, probably because Google showed interest with Indian markets or maybe the sale records.

Sony Xperia SP features a 4.6-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Reality Display at 319 ppi with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 for razor sharp pictures and superior brightness. The latest Mobile BRAVIA® Engine 2 delivers an even better viewing experience by analyzing your content type and adjusting the image automatically, making it one of the most intelligent smartphone screens around. Xperia SP runs on 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960Pro processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB on board memory which can be further expanded upto 32GB using microSD. All this hardware comes wrapped in a precision-crafted co-moulded aluminium frame, for a seamless look that is both sleek and solid. Adding to the design, the color changing transparent bar also resides at the bottom which can be customized as a notifier or even dancing LED to your music.  It also has One-touch functions for easy content sharing with NFC to display content on your TV or to share music and photos between devices.

The Sony Xperia SP comes bundled with Sony Music and Sony LIV to provide users the privilage of using Sony services on their smartphones. The newly launched Xperia SP will be available in all Sony Centers and leading mobile stores across India by mid-April 2013. The smartphone will be arrive in two color options that are White and black with a free premium case worth Rs. 1,990.
