The new Sony Xperia ZR can be immersed in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes, which makes it more rugged than the Xperia Z, which is IP55 and IP57 certified, and can be submerged under water till 1 meter for 30 minutes at a stretch.
The camera on the Xperia ZR is a 13 megapixel Xmor RS sensor on the back a VGA camera on the front. Running on Android JellyBean version 4.1 and comes packed with 8 GB of onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD.
