Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime Launched in India, pricing starts at INR 6999

Xiaomi has unveiled its next offering in the Redmi smartphone series, the Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime in India. Both the variants are quite identical in almost all aspects except for a few differences. The Redmi 3S has 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM. The Redmi 3S Prime has 32GB of internal storage, 3GB of RAM, a metal body, and has a rear fingerprint scanner.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S comes in Dark grey, Silver and Gold color variants and is priced at INR 6,999 for the 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant and the Redmi 3S Prime with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and fingerprint sensor is priced at INR 8,999. Both the devices will be available on Mi.com and Flipkart through open sale. Initially only Redmi 3S Prime will be available starting August 9th 12 Noon onwards and Redmi 3S will be available starting from August 16th.
