Recently some images leaked of a pre-GM build of iOS version 5.1. Unlike the developer version seeded several months ago, it has some added features, not seen before.
The images display an updated Siri that will soon get the long-awaited Japanese language support. There’s also added access for the camera straight from the lockscreen, making it easier to access the camera, instead of unlocking and then launching like usual. The images are in Portuguese, but do reveal enough. They’re apparently from a carrier that got early access to it. No word on when it’ll be available, but it will probably be somewhere in March when the next iPad is launched.
