News: Nokia Lumia 900 Gets Torn Apart

The most horrid and terrifying test for any phone is the teardown test but it is the only test which reveals what’s under the sack, in this case inside the phone. So, recently TechRepublic had the privilege of performing the teardown down test on the recently released Nokia Lumia 900 which is among the lowest priced high-end smartphone.

The task was a difficult one to perform as the the device was not easy to open as its locked down by a single pin beside the SIM card slot, though they somehow managed to pull it off. The teardown revealed that the devices comes along bundled with a 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM and 16GB of storage as already foretold, 802.11 b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. What was evident in the teardown was that Nokia had to compromise a bit on the hardware part to keep the price of the device so low and this might add along as one of its obstacle along with the major one already there, which is that its a Windows Phone device.
