Nokia today announced a new range of feature phones that support 3G internet with internet sharing. Yes the word affordable now has a new meaning with the Nokia 207, 208 and 208 dul sim handsets which will be coming this fall 2013.
Nokia 207, 208 and 208 dual sim all run on S40 Nokia propreitary mobile operating system on a small colorful device featuring a 2.4 inch ( 240×320 pixels resolution ) 65K color display with a oldschool physical T9 keypad in a candy bar design. These budget handsets come integrated with Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp and even support video streaming via YouTube on 3G. These feature phones use the trending micro sim cards and have a microSD card slot which supports memory up to 32GB. Other features include Bluetooth v3.0, 3G,GPRS/EDGE, micro USB port for data transfer and charging and 3.5 mm audio jack.
These latest S40 entrants are powered by a 1020 mAh battery with up to 12 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 4.5 hours on 3G. Since it does not support WiFi the internet sharing is done by connecting the device via USB cable to laptop or PC.
All three Nokia 207, 208 and the 208 Dual SIM will come in Red, Cyan, Yellow, White and Black color options and will be available for $68 that comes out to be ₹4,092 without taxes and are expected to arrive in Q3 2013.
