Nokia Asha 501 leaks a few hours before the official announcement

This is the Nokia Asha 501 that would be announced today at a Press conference in Delhi. This leak comes hours before the official announcement and thus we already know what the Finnish manufacturer has got up his sleeve.

Nokia would be introducing the Asha 501 today – it’s new budget phone in a variety of colour options replicating the Lumia series. Leaked specifications also point towards the device being a competitor for low-end budget Android smartphones.

The Nokia Asha 501 would run on Nokia’s Symbian series 40 OS, and will feature a 1 GHz processor under the hood, which is paired along with 512MB of RAM.

It would also feature a 3.5-inch screen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and a 5 megapixel rear camera.

More details would be available once we witness the release.
