We heard reports that Sanjay Jha would be stepping down as Motorola’s CEO and let Google decide the new Motorola CEO. Now we have reports saying Google has already decided the replacement.
According to Bloomberg, long-time Google employee Dennis Woodside, who is the current Google Senior Vice President, will be named as Jha’s replacement and new CEO of Motorola when the deal is finalized. Jennifer Erickson, Motorola’s spokesperson said, “We’re focused on running the business and getting the deal closed and wouldn’t comment beyond that on executive changes.” Google didn’t comment on the reports, but we’ll bring it to you if we get to know anything more.
