After revealing that they’ve shipped 5 Million Galaxy Notes just a few weeks ago, Samsung Electronics have posted a record quarterly profit after what seems to have been a very good first quarter.
Their quarterly profit rose to U$5.15 Billion topping their previous record from the fourth quarter of 2011. Analysts expect that they shipped close to 44 Million smartphones, up 25% from the previous quarter ending December 2011. Samsung Electronics will reveal a detailed report on the first quarter of 2012 on April 27.
Samsung are expected to have an even better second quarter with the release of their much anticipated Galaxy SIII smartphone and their latest devices including the Galaxy Beam with a built-in projector and the larger Galaxy Note 10.1 hitting shelves, but all may not be well as their legal battles with Apple escalates.
