Samsung Galaxy S4 launched in India for 41,500 INR

You might have read about the Samsung Galaxy S4 global announcement on 14 March 2013 and now we have updates regarding the India launch. For all those who missed out the action, Samsung had announced its latest flagship and another addition to their S-Series, the Samsung Galaxy S4 which launched in India today for 41,500 INR.

Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display at 441ppi running on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) by a 1.6 GHz Octa-Core Processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB / 32GB / 64GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 64GB with microSD card slot. It also flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Zero Shutter Lag, BSI and Full HD video recording features. With just 7.9 mm thick and 130 grams weight, it supports 4G LTE LTE Cat 3 100/50Mbps) / 3G (HSPA+ 42 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and a/c, Bluetooth v 4.0, MHL 2.0, GPS/GLONASS and NFC. 2MP front-facing camera for video calls and few unique features like Infrared LED for smart TV remote, barometer etc. powered by a 2600 mAh Battery.

Other software advancements include the S-translator, Air View, Samsung Hub, and some camera advancements like drama shot, shoot and sound, eraser etc which we will discuss in detail when we get the product for review.

Samsung has also tied up with Vodafone as the mobile partner to provide All-in-One plan which gives data and voice call benefits to help consumers save some money. The smartphone will be available from tomorrow 12 noon starting with the Samsung cafes and stores in 4 primary cities or you can order your device today itself from the Samsung e-store. The EMI offer will be available for Galaxy S4 too but no cashback alike others.
