We all know Sony has officially completed its buyout of shares of Ericsson in its joint venture and has renamed the entity to Sony Mobile Communications. As expected it has now launched the new “Sony Mobile” website as well.
Sony has taken down the sonyericsson.com, replacing it with sonymobile.com. The website features a similar design to Sony’s main page, and the website is focused on the Sony Xperia S if you open the UK site, and Xperia Ion greets you at the US website. The links on the site show that @SonyXperia will be the new twitter account to follow, which is quite logical anyway. We can expect Sony to simply rename its @SonyEricsson account to the new name.
