Sony Xperia Z2 launched in India for ₹49,990

Sony India after all the big flagships launched the Xperia Z2 in India today on May 8, 2014. Sony Xperia Z2 was launched this year at the Mobile World Congress 2014 as the flagship of the year. Along with the handset Sony also launched the Smartband which is actually a tracker of everything you do in your routine.

Features

The Sony Xperia Z2 sports a 5.2-inch TRILUMINOUS full HD display powered by X-Reality engine. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad-core processor clocked 2.23GHz and ADRENO 330 GPU supported by 3GB RAM. In a slim 8.2mm form factor Sony Xperia Z2 packs a 21MP rear camera backed by Sony G lens EXMOR RS CMOS sensor and BIONZ for mobile image processing engine for excellent mobile photography and 4K video recording. It comes with 3200 mAh non-removable battery in a single solid frame and is IP55 and IP58 certified making it dust-resistant and waterproof. More hardware specifications are listed below.

Pricing and Availability

Sony Xperia Z2 will be avilable from May 12, 2014 for ₹49,990 in a bundle with the Sony Smartband SWR10 worth ₹5,990 and premium phone case. Apart from this, the Z2 also bundles 2GB free 3G data for 2 months on Vodafone.
