Rovio’s CEO Mikael Hed has revealed that Angry Birds Space is being released on Windows Phone after all, an announcement that goes against an earlier report in which CMO Peter Vesterhacka claimed the game makers were not planning on releasing the franchise’s newest addition to Microsoft’s mobile OS.
In a brief statement to Reuters, Hed said, “we are working towards getting Angry Birds Space to WP7”. It is quite odd seeing two high level executives give totally different statements on the company’s flagship game, but the CEOs word may be slightly valuable.
