Last month we reported that Microsoft was accepting app submissions for five countries so that devevlopers could submit their apps in advance. Today Microsoft announced that end-users finally have access to the Marketplace in these nations, but out of all the nations included China has been strangely left out.
The countries include Argentina, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru, and the Philippines. Users in these regions will have to make sure their devices are updated to Windows Phone 7.5 in order to access the Marketplace. China was on the original list but has been scrapped off. According to reports, the country is absent from the list due to the forthcoming launch of Windows Phone handsets there.
