News: Microsoft says, “We have no plans to build any Windows Phone 8 device”

After the announcement of Surface last week, it was pretty obvious that Microsoft would come up with their own windows phone 8 device but it is not so. Information Week recently asked the windows phone marketing manager, Greg Sullivan about their plans to launch a windows phone device and he replied NO. Instead he said that they are satisfied with their partner companies and have faith in them that they will come out with the next gen windows phone devices. The partner companies about which Microsoft talks about includes Samsung, HTC, Nokia, and Huawei.
