Sahas Katta, the guy who smoked the Windows Phone in the SmokedByWindowsPhone challenge and created quite a controversy , which later led him to receiving prizes and an apology on behalf of Microsoft is again in the spotlight and this time because he has put the prizes he received from Microsoft up for charity.
In his blog , he stated that after his talks on mail with Ben Rudolf , he came to know that he had a laptop , a Lumia 800 and apology waiting for him at the Santa Clara Microsoft Store. The prizes [ to be specific ] included a $1,049 Hunger Games Special Edition HP Folio 13 and a $899 Nokia Lumia 800 which he has now put up for auction on eBay and said :
“I will ship the highest bidder of each listing the respective device and donate 100% of the proceeds to a charity of with the help of Reddit’s choosing”
He said that he is happy with his current smart-phone for now and a HP Envy 15 laptop he just purchased a while ago . Now , that’s kind of a win-win situation. What do you feel , do comment below .
