News: Windows Phone 8 Hardware and other details

Microsoft detailed Widows Phone 8 today here is the A-Z List of what’s new in Windows Phone 8, interestingly it even shed some light on hardware changes on Windows Phone 8 and the devices which will carry it!

Here is what MS told us:

• Nokia, Huawei, Samsung, and HTC will initially release Windows Phone 8 devices later this year
• No existing device will be be updated to Windows Phone 8
• Existing Nokia devices will get Windows Phone 7.8
• Each device from now on will get software updates till at least 18 months from the date of launch
• Dual Core Quallcomm processors in Windows Phone devices
• “Enthusiast” program — registered enthusiasts will get early access to updates before the broad consumer rollout.
• 3 supported resolutions
• NFC and microSD support
