Pokémon Go Plus wearable launches next week

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company just after announcing its partnership will Apple to bring the Pokemon GO to Apple Watch announced the revised release date of its Pokemon Go Plus wearable. The developer hopes to revive the Pokémon Go players as recent study indicates that Pokémon Go’s popularity has dipped since its launch, dropping from 45 million active users in late July to 30 million in mid-August. The companion device was announced nearly a year ago along with the game however, it has been delayed in order to make it work better with the game. Nintendo apologized to customers who pre-ordered the Pokémon Go Plus after the release delay was initially announced, promising them a discount on future purchases.

The $35 device, a wrist-mounted BlueTooth sensor that vibrates when Pokémon and Pokéstops are nearby. The wearable will flash its LED lights and vibrate as you pass by a PokéStop and alert you to the location. Also you can collect the items from the PokéStop just by clicking the Pokémon GO Plus. A similar notification will be given on the Pokemon Go Plus whenever a Pokémon hiding in your area and catch the Pokémon with a just a click of a button.

Pokémon GO Plus will be available on September 16, 2016 in most countries and later in the year in a few South American territories.
