Xiaomi after announcing its latest give in the Redmi lineup has finally launched the Redmi 8A Dual. The Redmi 8A Dual comes with a 6.22-inch FHD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, a waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the top. It is powered by the Snapdragon 439 SoC and has up to 3GB of RAM. Out of the box, the Redmi 8A Dual comes with MIUI 11 based on Android 9 Pie.
In the cameras section, the Redmi 8A Dual has a 13MP primary sensor along with a 2MP sensor on the rear. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter housed in the waterdrop notch. Although it doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor, the selfie camera can be used to face unlock the device. On the back, it comes with Aura X Grip that has splash resistant nano-coating. The device packs a 5000 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging via USB Type-C. Unfortunately, the box contains a 10W charger but you can upgrade as an accessory.
The Redmi 8A Dual comes in Midnight Grey, Sea Blue, and Sky White colors and is priced at Rs. 6499 for the 2GB + 32GB variant and Rs. 6999 for the 3GB + 32GB variant. Starting from February 18th, it will go on sale via Amazon, Mi.com and Mi Home stores across all the cities.
